Here is an interesting view of why Uber, the ever popular rideshare service, may not live up to its potential to improve public transportation in urban areas. The writer makes a case of rules that apply to taxi companies (for the good of the public?) but not Uber. A critique said the competition that Uber provides helped improve transportation options.
